How does FINTO work?

FINTO strives to promote fairness and equality through its operations. Increasing the appreciation of work, rewarding responsibility and commitment, and increasing openness are the principles of the association's operations. The association operates entirely on a voluntary basis.

The association operates entirely on a voluntary basis. It does not seek forms for its activities in the so-called 'Cold War'. traditional trade union activities, but instead seek solutions to develop the working environment through negotiation and constructive action. In this work, the experience and expertise of each upper-level employee is valuable.

Advocacy for members

FINTO looks after the interests of its members and participates in development activities and other cooperation projects within the company. The representatives of the association negotiate with the employer the collective agreement (TES) applicable to upper-level employees.

Shop stewards

The association has its own chief shop steward and shop stewards.

Conventions

The association has two regular general meetings a year: an election meeting in autumn and an annual meeting in early winter. The board of the association meets every month.

Membership fee

The membership fee of the association is 3 euros per month (year 2023). In the year of joining (calendar year), the membership fee is charged.

Membership in FINTO requires membership of the YTN union. As a member of the YTN union, in addition to unemployment security, you will receive employment counselling, legal aid and other union-specific benefits.
