What is Finto?

Finnair engineers and senior staff FINTO is a business association that both supervises and develops the interests of senior employees in Finnair Plc.

The association negotiates a collective agreement between the company and higher-ups, which includes salary adjustments, holiday and working hours, compensation for additional and overtime work, and compensation for travel costs and personal time spent on commuting.

The negotiated TES applies to all upper-level employees working at Finnair Plc, regardless of FINTO's membership. A permanent employee of Finnair Plc belonging to the 08 and 12 agreement sector and in a permanent employment relationship can become a member. 

Who is a upper-level employee?

Depending on the job, the employer determines which field of agreement applies to the position and its holder. Upper-level employees work as specialists, managers in middle management or other supervisory positions.

Finnair Plc has nearly 800 upper-level employees.

For example, you have a master's degree in engineering, economics, engineering, BBA, translator, advertising professional or work in expert tasks requiring special knowledge and skills.

What are the benefits of membership?

As a member, you can participate in the discussion and management of your terms of employment (FINTO YAMMER) and influence the position and appreciation of upper-level employees within the company.

The association is actively involved in the activities of the Akava YTN (national negotiation organization for upper-level employees) and thus participates in the advocacy and development work of senior employees also at the national level.

As a member, you will receive information about YTN's training and course events, meet colleagues and participate in various fun and fun membership events.

The association negotiates collective agreements for senior employees and supports changes during working life.
